Welcome to Scruffs, a bespoke Dog Grooming service where your dog will be groomed, indulged, and revitalised in a friendly, relaxed, and homely environment. It’s important to us that your dog always gets the love, care, and attention they deserve. That’s why we always start with a free initial consultation to meet and greet your dog.
As well as going through the details of the service with you, it’s a time when we can get to know your dog and build a friendship with them. Because at the end of the day, we know that if your dog is happy, you’ll be happy.
Scruffs is run by Debbie and Victor Durbaca. Debbie runs the dog grooming salon and is fully qualified with distinction and trained with Julie Lalou L.C.G.I. We are always keen to offer the very best service, Debbie has recently topped up her experience with advanced grooming with top pet groomer Colin Taylor and difficult grooming on dogs’ heads with Sarah Hussein, senior stylist at Harrods Pet Spa.

After a few “honest” reactions from dogs recently, we’ve decided to trial a new policy…
🐾 Customer Feedback Driven Grooming 🐾
From today, all haircuts will be based entirely on what your dog wants.
This means:
• If your dog pulls away – we respect that decision
• If they sit down halfway through – that’s the finished style
• If they give us the look – we stop immediately
• If they roll over for a belly rub… grooming is paused indefinitely
We believe it’s important every dog feels heard during their appointment.
Please note: results may vary from “slightly uneven” to “what happened here?” depending on your dog’s level of cooperation.
If you’d prefer your dog to have a more traditional finish… we recommend a quiet word with them beforehand 🐶

To keep things fair for all clients and to protect my time as a small business, the following policy applies to all bookings:
• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. No fee will apply when sufficient notice is given.
• If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or the appointment is missed, the full appointment cost will be charged.
• A deposit may be required to secure future bookings, particularly after a late cancellation or missed appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the final grooming cost.
• Clients who repeatedly cancel late or miss appointments may be required to pay in full at the time of booking.
• Any unpaid grooming appointments must be settled before any future bookings can be made. Clients with outstanding balances will not be rebooked until payment is received.
